Data Translation

En-scan is currently able to provide data as Triangles (STL) files or converted to NURB patches and exported as iges files.

We are now able to patch, smooth and modify the STL files and allow export to 3D CAD packages.

The native STL files can be successfully imported into 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, ProEngineer Catia and Rhino where they can be used for comparison to CAD data or as a framework for the creation of surfaces and solid models.  STL's can also be imported into animation and rendering software such as Cinema4D.

If you want to be able to modify data within your CAD environment we can convert the STL files into NURB patches which allows export as IGES files.  IGES file are accepted by all 3D CAD packages.
